End of year members' dinner. Last call for spooky stories! Support Geelong Cereal so we can keep supporting you.

Let's celebrate an amazing year for Geelong Cereal!

We've done a lot of work together to build Geelong Cereal into something we can be really proud of in 2026. We have well over 100 members now, many frequent contributors, we regularly feature on 94.7 the Pulse, we pulled together an incredible 3 hour live reading together, we've published four epic micro fiction editions, and built a community and body of work that people are really talking about.

After our Smooth Talkers event at the Pulse, it was remarked to me that the solidarity and sense of community among our members really stands out as something special, and that was quite moving to hear, especially considering how new our little network of writers and readers is! You all deserve to be celebrated.

Join the Geelong Cereal community for dinner and drinks, Rooftop bar, Telegraph Hotel, 2 Pakington Street Geelong West
on Thursday 10/12 at 7pm.
Please RSVP ASAP for accurate booking.

No speeches or formalities, just a pleasant summer evening with your fellow writers and readers!

Last call for Halloween micro fiction!

Don't forget to submit your spooky micro fiction in time for our tiny Halloween edition!

Response times and call-outs/ collections.

Response time to emails, submissions etc is a little slower than usual at the moment. So too, there will be fewer collections and callouts as the year draws to a close. Nothing to worry about, it's just a busy time of year!
