Geelong Cereal is a creative companion of Geelong Writers Inc. with whom we share the common goals of uniting, inspiring and promoting the interests of the local literary community and its readers. Geelong Writers Inc. and Geelong Cereal enjoy a strong collaborative relationship, and look forward to continuing to engage in shared initiatives and promotional activities.
Geelong Writers Inc. is a community of established and emerging writers that brings together the literary community of past and present Geelong residents, workers and friends for a wide range of purposes and activities, including writing groups, social evenings, competitions, challenges, and mentoring opportunities.
Geelong Writers also publish a range of regular anthologies which feature member's work, from poetry to short stories and more. These publications not only showcase local writer's efforts but also offer members practice and experience in proofreading, copywriting, editing, outreach and publishing.
Geelong Writers members are pleased to come together on Wadawurrung Country where the organisation has been serving the local literary community for more than thirty years, and are always thrilled to accept new members.
