Member update - January 2026
Happy new year!
I'll be taking most of January off which means that Geelong Cereal will pause for a few weeks. The next chapters of I Lived Off Easey Street and Fletcher will come out soon, and then I'll be stepping away.
But there is a lot on Geelong Cereal already if you are looking for some great reads. Not sure where to start? Here's what I recommend:
- Head over to Story Collections for some quality fiction. If you want a quick read, then Laiska, lazy moon by Edward Reilly is only two chapters. For longer reads, Missing by Steve Gray is available in full, five chapters in total.
- The Gallery is there too if you want to discover local artists. This is where we write profiles on artists and explore their work and methods. We have four articles at the moment, all very different artists which unique styles and visions. Maybe start with Darrah Lestideau, her journey as an artist is just beginning and it's fascinating to see her build her skill set and experiment with modalities and mediums.
Enjoy the summer and see you again in February. Feel free to get in touch if you would like to be featured in Geelong Cereal or if you would you like to publish your creative writing.
