Member update - October 2025

We are refreshed and ready to go. Having taken some time off over October, Geelong Cereal is back publishing with a busy schedule ahead.

What's going on

Kristine Fitzgerald's Fletcher series is continuing, you'll see that chapter six is now up. And chapter two of Steve Gray's I lived off Easey Street is also up too. I'm enjoying these both, I hope you are as well.

Next weekend, just as November gets started, we'll be starting a new story called Wild Orchids written by Denise Main and Ian Chisholm, so make sure you polish your reading glasses for that when it arrives. We'll also be publishing another piece by Edward Reilly, called Laiska, so there's plenty coming your way.

Call out: poems wanted!

Geelong Cereal is going to start its Poetry Corner. At this stage we think this will be every two weeks or so, three or four poems in each edition and published right here on Geelong Cereal. So, if you have any poems or know any keen poets, contact us on geelongcereal@gmail.com.

A bit about subscriber stats

Thanks again to all our subscribers. We have picked up a few more in the last couple of weeks, which means there are more readers engaging with your creative writing. You might be interested to know that we deliver your writings straight to our subscribers' email and that on average of 80% of subscribers are then reading those stories. That's pretty good by any standard. So, keep sending us your work and keep telling your friends and family about us. I can feel a community building!

See you around,

Toby

Hold on... there’s more
